However, both of his parents, and all of our kids have been within show / breed standard.We love him, and he sets a very calm and mature energy in the buck pen.

motherly to the younger does in the herd. She is a brilliant and dedicated mother (and grandmother!) at every single milestone.
Very attentive and patient, with outstanding instincts. Nursing, cleaning, and training both her own kids, and her grandkids.~She has an unprecedented will to milk / nurse, with extremely long and strong lactations, and an absolutely amazing mammary system that continues to hold firm and true throughout her longstanding career.We hope she passes these traits on to her daughters and granddaughters, as we have decided to retire her from production after this lactation. Which Buck is best for your needs?Courageous is a *B buck, which is very important in regards to
pedigree development, and milk production in a lineage.He would be an especially great choice for stud if you are looking to breed
standard size does, or mini-crosses, as he is himself on the taller side.
Courageous is gold (brown) eyed, disbudded, and can contribute either gold (any shade) or chamoisee coat colors to his offspring.Courageous is our only publicly offered stud at this time.

What if my doe doesn't take?We only offer services from experienced bucks with proven fertility.
However, there are several common reasons for a doe to not take.
The most obvious would be a miscalculated heat cycle, or a short-cycle.
Health, hormone, or genetic issues could also play a role.For most "Coffee Dates" we will offer up to two free re-tries within 60 days of the first breeding, if a pregnancy test comes back negative.For "Extended Stay Dates" the re-try is already built into the model, where the doe is serviced repeatedly over two heat cycles, as long as she is receptive.>><<

Milking, and making of all the things.Full production, and in the swing of things.
Did you know you can make all of the dairy products with Goat's Milk
that you can with Cow's Milk? Here's your sign to get yourself some milk goats!

In addition to all types of cheeses, you can also separate the cream
(we use a mechanical cream separator)
to make whipped cream, butter, sour cream,... you name it.
